Drugs Don’t Work Program

WHY BECOME A
CERTIFIED DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE?

drugsdontworkpThe Chamber has joined with The Council on Alcohol and Drugs to offer the DRUGS DON’T WORK (DDW) program. We will work with businesses of all sizes to implement a stress free comprehensive drug free workplace program including:

  • Policy Development (Substance Abuse)
  • Supervisor Training
  • Employee Education
  • Employee Assistance Programs (Treatment Providers)
  • Drug Testing

One major incentive to joining our DDW program is a 7.5% percent premium discount on Workers’ Compensation Insurance. Any business affiliated with City, State or Federal Contracts are required by law to be a certified drug-free workplace.
